Security Supervisors at Bradford University Complete the ILM Level 3 VRQ

It was an intensive 3 days at Bradford University as Security Supervisors took part in the ILM Level 3 VRQ in Effective Management. They covered 3 modules on the course:

Briefings and Presentations

Understanding Security Measures in the Workplace

Understanding Incident Management and Disaster Recovery in the Workplace

Through on course assessment and a management report submitted post course the supervisors will gain the full QCF VRQ qualification with Europe's largest management body the Institute of Leadership and Management.

At level 3 the course is demanding yet rewarding. Delegates now have a greater understanding of the role and tasks of Senior Security Management and are better equipped to contribute and assist in these tasks.

After analysing 'real life' security issues delegates delivered presentations on their findings including: Prioritisation of weaknesses and suggested improvements in line with internal and external influencing factors.

Delegates also took part in 'table top exercises' to assess, analyse and plan complex security requirements including Incident Management and Business Continuity.

If you would like any information on the course please contact the office.
