Thetford Town Player Sponsorship

Geoff went to the Thetford Town V Melford football match on Saturday to finalise a player sponsorship. It was agreed before the game with club officials that EMTC would sponsor Centre Forward Simon Mann.

It didn't take Manny long to go the Extra Mile - he scored after 5 minutes and finished the first half with a hatrick. Town eventually won 3 - 1 after a disappointing second half.

Well done Simon, have a good season from all at Extra Mile.

We hope to have some photographs of Simon and the team soon.

Sponsorship

We have been maxed out so I've not had time to blog lately. I did hand this responsibility over to Nikky our new admin lady but she's been as busy as I have.

We have continued Dawn Standley's sponsorship for another season, so good luck Dawn, EMTC wish you success both in County and individual tournaments.

EMTC will be sponsoring another Thetford Town footballer this season, Geoff will hopefully wrap this up at the home match against Godmanchester Rovers on Tuesday 8th September.

Work Experience - Week 1

Week one was good but i had to sit through a meeting that dide'nt appeal to me because i only had a rough idea what it was about. It was better in the afternoon because they were talking about skills for life and different types of learning styles and i have done that at school. Geoff and Chris always have something for me to do. e.g. make a key for a map showing locations of assesors, + other things on Access and Excel. I'm looking forward to week two!

Roxy. (:
