Sponsorship Deal

http://www.thetfordtownfc.com/

EMTC Ltd are now the proud sponspors of Daniel Corston the Goalkeeper of Thetford Town FC.

Thetford Town play in the Ridgeons League Division One.
From the Thetford Town Player Profile:
"Age 28: Signed from Brandon Town where he played successfully for 5 seasons, played in the Anglian Combination representative side that got to the semi finals nationally. Looks a bit like the "Monk" from the film "Mean Machine" which is worrying!"

Good luck for the season Dan.

ILM Team Member Development Programme

Nine members of the Norfolk County Council Emergency Planning Unit took part in a one day development session at Wayland House yesterday. All seemed to enjoy the training and activities - including the Facilitator.

As well as helping the team to develop more as a team all now know how to make Quality Approved paper swans.

EMTC hope to work with the Emergency Planning Unit again soon.

PRA Success

All at EMTC would like to congratulate Alan Puncher on being accepted as a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Alan provided proof of his military service and we completed paperwork that was sent to ILM to be judged by a committee. They agreed with the EMTC judgement that Alan had sufficient proof of experience and ability to become a Fellow of the ILM.
Congratulations Alan Puncher FInstLM

Thetford Town Football Club

EMTC are looking to sponsor a player from Thetford Town Football Club for this season. Geoff has been to 2 games so far on a scouting mission.

If there is a player out there who wants sponsoring please contact Geoff through the EMTC website.

July 08

July will be the month remembered when EMTC start hitting the Security market. We had been avoiding the Providing Security Services NVQ as we had been running it for so long in the RAF but it is such a credible award that we decided to push it along with other security awards.

Our first major PSS contract is with the security team at the University of East Anglia. The entire team are completing the award, many fully funded, and all are receiving the NOCN CCTV training as part of the course.

The Directors went for a meeting with City & Guilds and some other providers to Stoke City Football Club to discuss the Spectator Safety NVQ. There are not enough providers able to offer this award at levels 3 and 4. EMTC can and will be looking to offer it to the management at events and venues.

The Security Practioner Award is going well in London. We are now looking for some more local security firms to come onboard with this.
